The Book of Will

The vision for this production centered on using angled light to reveal the characters’ shifting states of mind. This show presented a unique set of challenges: a partially‑in‑the‑round space with unconventional sightlines, a director who fosters a collaborative and exploratory rehearsal environment, and a story that moves rapidly between locations and moments that rely heavily on technical support.

Rather than resisting those constraints, I found real enjoyment in navigating them. The necessary pivots, compromises, and redesigns became opportunities to refine the work and support the production more fully. My goal throughout was to be a steady hand, someone who elevates the piece, adapts with intention, and helps the show become its strongest version.
